After graduating at ETH Zürich in MSc Architecture in 2016, Fabienne was a practicing architect at Caruso St John Architects in London UK, where she worked on over 25 projects; from exhibition design, transformation of public buildings at different scales and stages up to masterplanning. Finding ways to reshape institutions and working within existing situations were of her core tasks. 2019-23 she was teaching as associate lecturer in a team with Peter St John at London Metropolitan University, 2023 Critical and Contextual Studies with Peggy Mc Cren and Richard Gatti. Invited as jury at the Architectural Association in 2024, and Hochschule Kaiserslautern 2022. In 2011 she started the pursuit of independent work. Personal interests have led to alternative forms of research through drawing, visuals and mapping- exploring notations of charged or conflicted places, detecting and tracing the energy of myth.It evolves further around the question in how architecture acts as medium for shared memory, and how its form becomes a bearer and a crystallisation of meaning for collective struggles. In architectural practice, she is aiming to work with and for the transgressive potential of this energy, its connection to architectural expression and the relationship of building culture and affective memory. Recent work includes Collaborations for and with Futuredeluxe, Ben Kreukniet, Stiller Projects, Kouros Azar.
